Synopsis

She won’t trade her faith for love…

and he’s the one man who would never ask her to.

A wagon train. A hidden identity.

And a protector willing to risk everything for her heart.

Paige Clarke’s spirit is as unyielding as her faith. A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she has endured loss, judgment, and rejection—yet never once surrendered who she is. When her guardian promises her to a man bound for Oregon, Paige dares to hope for kindness. Instead, her intended demands the unthinkable: that she renounce her beliefs to become his wife.

Choosing integrity over fear, Paige joins a wagon train heading north with her cousin and their Jewish friend—determined to forge her own path across the frontier. But the journey quickly turns dangerous when a notorious “outlaw” singles her out, claiming her as his.

Frightened and wary, Paige wants nothing to do with him…
until she discovers the truth.

The outlaw is U.S. Marshal Johnathon Stirling, working undercover to protect the wagon train from two ruthless men suspected of trafficking women. As danger closes in and secrets unravel, Paige is drawn to the one man she should fear most.

With every mile, trust deepens.
With every moment, her guarded heart begins to yield.

But loving Johnathon means risking more than her heart, it means believing he will honor her faith as fiercely as he vows to protect her… and trusting that true love will never ask her to become someone she is not.
