Synopsis

He’s been trapped in her friend zone for years. If she tells him why, it could destroy everything they have.

Melody Reed has secrets she’s not proud of, and she’s gone to great lengths to keep them from her best friend, TJ. It means continually settling for just friends when she really wants more, but it’s better than losing him entirely.

TJ Halverson needs a date for his cousin’s Valentine’s wedding. Unfortunately, the only woman he wants is the one who friend-zoned him years ago after one kiss. But he has a plan to unlock Melody’s heart. A desperate plan.

As things go according to his devious scheme, he is closer to winning Melody’s heart than he ever dared to hope. When a turn of events forces the friends to take the stage together to save Melody’s job, she can’t deny that TJ has always been there for her when no one else has. Will he still stick around once he knows the ugly truth?

Melody has a choice to make: stay alone and safe where she’s always been, or take a risk and trust TJ—and TJ’s God. But TJ realizes too late that if Melody discovers his duplicity, it will take a miracle not to lose her once and for all.
