Synopsis

RESISTANCE. ACCEPTANCE. SURRENDER.
Dive into the narrative that profoundly shaped the characters of Theft by Candlelight. This particular book, with its aged binding, was the very volume gracing the shelves of the ancient library, secluded in the imaginary world of Venza. As a related story, this novel offers a crucial link to the events and characters established in the inaugural volume of the Royal Hearts Series…

Torn from his opulent palace life as a child, Prince Coeden never envisioned a future as the ruler of Fragalia. The path laid out for him as the second-born son was one of quiet satisfaction and a life unburdened by great expectation. A foretold prophecy shifted Coeden’s path, positioning him as a significant threat to the sinister powers that loomed over Arland.

Though Coeden attempted to escape what was to come, he discovered the Almighty’s grasp held him more firmly than he’d ever anticipated. Echoes of ancient truths resonate through the intertwined threads of past and future. Man was not meant to be alone. That truth is bathed in divine light as Coeden’s destiny crosses paths with Oralia, the Burden Bearer of Creation.

Would he accept his burden and risk everything to restore his world to its original design? How much of the future depended on claiming the throne while surrendering the crown?
