Synopsis

A serial arsonist is closing in on his property…and the woman who broke his heart is the one assigned to protect it.

Shaun Beaumonte has poured everything into restoring his great-great-grandfather’s Magnolia Springs home. But when the smell of smoke cuts through the Alabama heat, his dream is seconds from disaster. He calls for help—only to face the last person he wants to see: Sierra Beaumonte. His ex-wife. The woman who walked away…and is now the town’s new Deputy Fire Marshal.

Sierra came to Magnolia Springs for a restart—not to collide with the man she never stopped hurting. Keeping Shaun safe is her job. Keeping her distance is impossible when an emerging pattern of fires points to a serial arsonist…and Shaun may be the next target.

Forced into an uneasy partnership, they dig for answers while battling old wounds neither is ready to reopen. Every clue pulls them closer to a deadly truth—and to the feelings they both buried.

When the flames close in, will they find a second chance…or be consumed by the past that tore them apart?
