Synopsis

I used to believe life was exactly what I saw every day—that humans were alone on this planet.

I was wrong.

On the eve of my fortieth birthday, I get a letter from my Gran explaining that all of those fictional beings from stories? Yeah, they’re real. Oh, and apparently, I’m about to be hit with a megawatt surge of magic that could do anything from sending me back in time to flinging me across the planet.
