Synopsis

One witch on a mission. One rival proving her wrong. One thin wall between them.
Harper Buchanan knows what’s best for her beloved hometown, and it isn’t Eli Dare. Her scathing editorials about the NFL team owner have become Cascade City’s favorite gossip. But when the annoyingly handsome businessman buys her newspaper and moves in next door, karma comes knocking—on the very wall they now share.
Eli Dare is done playing nice. After years of enduring Harper’s public attacks, he’s fighting back. Buying her newspaper? Just business. Moving in next door? Pure strategy. Falling for his fiery critic? Sweet irony.
Now Harper is enduring late-night harmonica solos and fighting for dryer time with her infuriating new boss, while trying (and failing) to ignore their sizzling chemistry. Add a sassy cat and meddling family members, and suddenly the wall between them isn’t the only thing threatening to crumble.
This magical, feel-good, enemies-to-lovers, workplace, forced proximity, closed-door romance delivers laughs, heat, and heart, with a touch of swearing but nothing explicit on the page. Get ready to fall in love with Cascade City’s most unlikely couple!
