Synopsis

Their day-to-day lives seemed so insignificant . . .

Marit VanderLinden is celebrating her 17th birthday with a visit to the Netherlands, homeland of her grandparents. For this shy American teen, the highlight of the trip will be the opportunity to explore abandoned historical buildings with her celebrity crush, an Urbex explorer who’s become a YouTube sensation.

Few people understand Cas Jansen’s passion for preserving the forgotten relics of Old Rotterdam. Marit’s shared enthusiasm draws them together, but when he unwittingly places them in danger, Cas fears more than her birthday trip is at risk.

Meanwhile, in 1940 Rotterdam, Annelies Metternich is trying to cope with changes brought on by the war, including her sudden role as housekeeper and cook in a city where food is scarce. While she tries to navigate the conflicts and losses within her own family, she turns to a few unlikely new friends for help, never guessing that her decisions will change all of their lives forever.

In this opening act of the Untouched Time Transfer series, join Marit, Cas, and Annelies on an unforgettable journey into an epic new reality.
