Synopsis

In London’s Regency society, a lady’s reputation can be destroyed in a single night.

When Lucinda Harrington risks everything to save a beloved animal, she never expects to fall into the clutches of the city’s most ruthless moneylenders—known only as The Bitter Grip.

When Alexander Sinclair finally returns to England, the girl he once loved is no longer waiting. Lucinda Harrington—is unwed, unpredictable, and claiming to be engaged… to his brother.

Alex is determined to win her back, but Lucinda’s world is unraveling. What happens next leaves her memories scattered, and her future uncertain. As scandal looms and the courtroom closes in, Lucinda must uncover the truth of that night before it’s twisted into ruin—or risk losing her freedom and the only man she’s ever loved.

The Bitter Gripis a tender, slow-burn Regency romance filled with courtroom drama, emotional depth, and the power of love when memory fails. For fans of Julie Klassen, Sarah M. Eden, and fans of Traditional clean Regency romance.
