Can you escape the past?

The reopening of The Acorn Café is in just a few weeks, and I am not about to let some bigshot chef from Indianapolis ruin it, even if he is hot. The last thing I need is a repeat of what happened in New York. Unfortunately, my brother didn’t get the message. I can’t believe he invited Colton Miller to church and made me sit with him. Martin Braden needs to stick to preaching, not match-making.

I suppose I could give Colton another shot. He is a talented chef, and I do need help at the café. It certainly doesn’t hurt that he’s easy on the eyes. Between his good looks and the novelty of being new in town, he just might be the man I need to make The Acorn Café a success.
