Synopsis

From best friends to worst friends
She became a celebrity…he’s still the nerd next door
The thought of running into Tami had me tossing and turning and my heart was doing things that would confound even the top cardiologist.

After her television show is cut, Tamsyn Russell finds herself back in her hometown of Covington Heights.
It’s a bit of a let down for the teen star, discovered at the age of 11 and whisked away to the bright lights of Hollywood. Now she’s having to complete her senior year at Covington Prep. And while her Mom and Dad and younger brother are pleased to be back in the small town, Tamsyn is worried about fitting in. Have fame and fortune changed her so much?

Sloan Hollister doesn’t expect his senior year to be fun. With his sights set on becoming valedictorian, his sole focus is academic excellence. His Saturday nights are likely spent volunteering as an EMT, studying, or building intricate Lego creations. It’s a huge surprise to to see Tamsyn, his old best friend starting at in Covington Prep. He still remembers the day Tamsyn left, telling him she’d fly him out to California in her private jet and they’d go to Disneyland, ride the Ferris wheel on Santa Monica Pier and shop up a storm in Beverly Hills. Well, that had never happened. In fact, he’d only received one postcard in all those years.
And now that she’s back, Sloan barely acknowledges Tamsyn and acts like he has no intention of renewing their friendship.
But when Tamsyn finds herself struggling with her schoolwork and in danger of not graduating, there’s one person she knows can help…
But will Sloan, the nerd next door, want anything to do with her?
