Synopsis

Candelaria has always been a woman of faith. She runs Daily Bread Café with love, baking pastries and praying over each batch. While her café offers warmth and comfort to those who enter, Candie often feels the loneliness of a single life, especially with her quiet longing for a partner she believes God is preparing for her. She whispers Psalm 37:4 to herself often, hoping that God will fulfill the desires of her heart.

Claudia, Candie’s best friend, is the perfect balance for the baker’s faith-driven patience. Claudia has had her fair share of struggles with faith and relationships, but she’s emerged stronger, along with a witty sense of humor.

When Candie meets Eli, a handsome and thoughtful book publisher who walks into the café one day, it seems like a divine appointment, only for him to quickly leave, leaving Candie wondering if this was the start of something special or just a fleeting encounter. As Candie silently prays for guidance, learning to trust God’s timing, Claudia believes sometimes you need to take matters into your own hands – even if it means orchestrating unorthodox schemes to bring Candelaria and Eli together.

Their friendship and faith are tested as some secrets unravel, forcing the friends to confront their deepest fears and past hurts. The two must navigate their tangled relationships to find love, redemption, and the courage to believe that all things rest securely in His hands.
