Synopsis

Ice Cream Idyll
Just Desserts Book Two

She lost her husband. Now she needs to find herself.

With her children nearly grown and her house about to feel too quiet, Maggie Tate is standing at the edge of a brand-new chapter. Comfort has come in the form of homemade ice cream—and yes, a few extra pounds—but Maggie is ready to turn her sweet obsession into something more: a fresh start and a new career.

Her landlord, Rick Dalton, is far too charming, far too attentive, and entirely too tempting. He loves Maggie’s ice cream—and seems to admire Maggie just as much. But Maggie knows better than to let a handsome distraction derail her plans. Rick should be finding someone his own age, not looking at her like she’s the best thing on the menu.

As dreams begin to take shape and feelings refuse to stay frozen, Maggie must decide if reinvention means doing it alone… or daring to make room for love again.

Ice Cream Idyll is a heartfelt, feel-good contemporary romance about second chances, self-discovery, and finding sweetness in unexpected places.
Part of the Just Desserts series—warm, satisfying romances you can enjoy in any order.
