Synopsis

Valentine’s Day will never be the same.

Kristen Cook has been crushing on her best friend’s older brother since sixth grade.
Back then, Shawn McDowell was just the boy next door. Now he’s a soap opera star—and even more swoon-worthy than she ever imagined.

Kristen is headed to L.A. for a career opportunity of her own, fully expecting Shawn to remain safely out of reach. After all, she’s spent years convincing herself that some fantasies are better left untouched.

But when her plans fall apart, walking away from her dream job isn’t an option.
Walking away from love? That might be harder than she ever expected.

Because sometimes the sweetest connections are the ones you’ve been craving all along.

Confection Connection is a warm, feel-good contemporary romance about longtime crushes, unexpected chances, and discovering that love doesn’t always follow the plan—especially on Valentine’s Day.
Part of the Just Desserts series—deliciously satisfying romances you can enjoy in any order.
