Synopsis

For twenty-five years Dot’s life has been an uphill battle where every win has only led to a series of losses, so when she accidentally becomes the master of a real genie in a bottle, the prospect of making the three biggest decisions of her life in quick succession feels more like a death sentence than a jackpot.

Raji has had one tedious job for thousands of years: granting the same boring wishes for an endless string of greedy, self-satisfying masters. But when he finds himself in the twenty-first century with a client whose anxiety leads her to seek his advice, he’s suddenly allowed something he’s only ever dreamed about: a piece of the action.

When Dot’s reluctance to leave her comfort zone and Raji’s reluctance to overstep his boundaries get the wishes off to a rocky start, the two realize that working together may be the key to success. And when they discover that a mysterious stranger is in pursuit of the genie, they will have to forsake the roles of master and servant entirely to grant a final wish that could change both their lives forever.
