Synopsis

Lucia Darcy has never lacked love, but she has never experienced it deeply, that is not until the dimpled Mr. Emmett challenges everything she has ever known about love. Has she been wrong all this time?

Daughter of the handsome and respected Fitzwilliam Darcy and the beautiful, beloved Elizabeth, Lucia can’t help but fall in love with any and every gentleman who appears to like her. They’re all so pleasant, but her generous heart has gotten her into trouble before. It’s time she focused on other endeavors, like proving she is capable of more than dressing in fine gowns and playing the pianoforte. So when Lucia receives an unexpected request to visit the ailing Lady Catherine de Bourgh who has just lost her daughter, Lucia is happy to comply. Secrets of Rosings is a sweet romance that takes place approximately 19 years after Pride and Prejudice and can be read alone but is best enjoyed if Shades of Pemberley, book 1, is read first.
