Synopsis

Dylinn’s reached her breaking point; she can’t just “wait out” her abusive dad. It’s time to leave home. She stuffs clothes into her backpack and slips outside one night. Does she have a plan? No, not exactly, but everything HAS to work out.
Colt just wants to be normal. He wants to go to college and lose all the homeschooled, goat-farm associations. And that’s when a girl shows up on their farm, asking for a job.
He’s given the job of training her, and the two of them grow closer. He notices the little things; she humors his younger siblings.
But one night, concerned for her safety, Colt stalks her. Only to betray her the very next day. And Dylinn’s dad has no intentions of letting her leave ever again.
