Synopsis

Rule #1: Never fall in love on vacation in Italy.

Any romantic notions of being an artist and finding true love are in the trash. After kissing Gianni on a bridge in Florence, he left me waiting.

And waiting.

My vacay is over, so I fly back to NYC, heartbroken. I guess you could say I’m stuck in that gelato-sweet moment. All I have are foolish teenage memories, a high-maintenance cat that I inherited, and a painting that Gianni gave me. Oh, well.

Then, the New York art gallery where I work gets a new owner. An Italian, ex-soccer player, billionaire, also called Gianni. Could it be the same Gianni who kissed me and made me feel as if I was the only girl he had ever kissed?
