LOST is a full-length novel (306 pages) and is clean adult historical romantasy: Celtic myth braided with Incan legend, set in 1825.
A little about the story:
What happens when loving someone is the very thing that destroys them?
Cat Kennedy and Shamus O’Flaherty were born into feuding bloodlines and forged as opposing weapons, Light against Shadow. They are enemies before they ever meet. Then they fall in love anyway. And the cruel turn is this: her choosing him is what wakes the darkness in him. The love is not simply forbidden. It is the mechanism of the tragedy.
It’s a story about:
🍀 Star-crossed lovers, fated as weapons against each other
🗡️ Enemies to lovers, a forced engagement, a long slow burn
🗺️ Treasure hunts, deadly temples, and ancient gods
📗 Celtic myth meets Incan legend, rooted in true family history
The story grew from my own family history. My treasure-hunting great-grandfather ventured into the Peruvian Amazon and never returned, and LOST is the myth I built from the legend he left behind.
