Synopsis

Hot, smokey breath plumed out the beast’s nostrils and enveloped her in a blanket of vapor. The experience felt so familiar, like she was coming home.

Blakely has never seen dragons adore someone like they do Leanna.

Since the death of her adopted parents, Leanna works under the cruel thumb of their son with no prospects of things improving. But everything turns on its head after a chance encounter with a dragon and its rider offers her a way out.

In the city of High Skies, she discovers a new world where dragons play and work alongside humans. However, when it’s revealed she has a gift with dragons no one understands, it creates discord in her newfound haven. Suspicious situations begin to crop up around Leanna, and dragon knight Blakely’s relationship to the woman he rescued throws doubt onto all he thought he knew.

As her new life continues to morph in unexpected ways, Leanna is forced to confront the trauma from her past or risk losing all she now holds dear.
