Synopsis

When she discovered a hidden world, one bite changed her life in an instant.

Melanie has spent years trying to forget the “accident” she witnessed as a child and the distance it created between her and her brother, Spero. When an accidental encounter thrusts her into the magical realm of Imperium, the past is the least of her worries. Struck by a vampire’s curse, Melanie’s humanity is leaking away.

To survive, Melanie must leave the land behind for the sea kingdom, where she seeks sanctuary with a merman prince. While Melanie fights the darkness in the deep, Spero and his wife must journey through time to fetch the vampire’s price to free her: a mysterious woman lost to history.

Can Melanie defeat the curse, or will life as she knows it end before she can graduate high school?

This is the second book in The Legacy Chronicles and takes place eight years after the events of Hope and Love’s Legacy. It can be read as a standalone, but it contains spoilers for the first book.
