Synopsis

Sal lives a double life, half at sea as her father’s cabin boy and half at a fine finishing school. No one understands that she’s never in disguise. Both lives are an integral part of who she is, but revealing one would lock her out of the other forever. Her challenge only grows when her father sells his ship and her hand in marriage. Her new husband thinks that he can leave her behind, but he doesn’t know about her cabin boy life. Sal won’t stop until she finds a way to be herself—both of them.

Roland’s life has been shadowed by his manipulative brother, but his father’s will provides a loophole that could save him and another innocent family in his brother’s debt. All he has to do is marry a stranger and captain a profitable journey around the Spectra continent, past pirates, griffins, and a government in his brother’s pocket. As Roland proves himself as a new captain, he might just gain the trust of the bride he thought he left behind.
