Until one day I saw an ad in the paper that changed everything—Wanted: Vampire’s Assistant. The list of qualifications that followed the listing for the job were ridiculous. Sturdiness? Not prone to fits of terror? Who posted stuff like this? Assuming it was a prank ad, I sent a very pointed email to the person who wrote it—Mr. Draven Leto…and immediately got a reply asking me to apply for the job.

My scepticism didn’t last beyond a single phone call. I mean, someone taking over your body is something that’s difficult to refute. So now I’m on a plane heading for a place called Moonhaven Cove, somewhere off the coast of Oregon. A town hidden from humans. A town I get to enter because I’m not quite human myself.

And my interview with Draven Leto, billionaire CEO of Leto enterprises? Well, let’s just say it was life changing.
