Synopsis

I was just trying to keep my niece Alanna and me alive—staying one step ahead of a madman who refuses to let us go.

I never expected sudden custody of my niece, or for her father, Barrett, to start hunting us. But I’ll do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Even if that means constantly looking over my shoulder, and never being safe enough to stop and catch my breath.

And then I meet my mate.

Riggs is the Alpha of the Moonhaven Bear Clan. He’s quiet, intense, and fiercely protective. And even though he’s been waiting a long time for his mate, and he feels like home to me, I can’t give in to him. My priority has to be keeping Alanna and me safe. Nothing else matters more than that.

But the Clan—and Riggs—aren’t making it easy to remain unaffected. Between the Clan filling our days with warmth and laughter, and my mate’s unfailing patience, support, and protection, I’m slowly losing the will to keep fighting it… and I’m starting to hope for more.

For a home, and for a future.

But there’s just one problem.

Barrett is still coming for us.
