Synopsis

With an abusive father making her life miserable, Isabelle Marvin has long since lost hope for anything beyond the next cruel word or slap across the face. Until a sudden storm changes everything. Finding herself at the mercy of a stranger, a man who seems just as wary of her as she is of him, Isabelle begins to learn the meaning of kindness. And love.
