Synopsis

The billionaire’s tabloid scandals have put his trust fund at risk. Her dream promotion now comes with one outrageous catch. The solution? A fake relationship neither of them wants.

Ivy Cooper has only one goal—get promoted to manager of Beckett Equestrian Center. But from the moment she arrived in the equestrian paradise of Wellington, Florida, Ivy knew earning her place in this elite world wouldn’t come easily.

That is, until an unexpected opportunity arises that could change everything.

Unfortunately for Ivy, that opportunity comes with one major catch: pretending to date Will Beckett, her billionaire boss’s overprivileged, scandal-prone son—whom she can hardly stand.

With Will’s twenty-sixth birthday just months away, his father has threatened to withhold the billion-dollar trust fund he’s set to inherit unless he cleans up his increasingly disastrous public image.

And what better way to convince Wellington’s elite that the notorious playboy has changed than to have him date someone as responsible as Ivy? In return, Ivy could finally secure the promotion she’s spent years working toward.

That is, if she can pull off the seemingly impossible—convincing everyone in Wellington they’re hopelessly in love.

And a few staged appearances in the VIP tents at Wellington’s most prestigious equestrian competitions and at glamorous parties won’t be enough—especially when they can barely stand each other and Ivy feels completely out of place in Will’s world.

Yet with each fake date, Ivy discovers there’s far more to Will Beckett than the privileged playboy the tabloids have made him out to be. Beneath his scandal-ridden reputation lies a dark secret from his past he’s spent years trying to outrun—and a vulnerable side she never expected to find.

But Ivy keeps reminding herself of one thing: their entire arrangement is a ticking time bomb. Soon, he’ll inherit his trust fund and vanish from her life forever.

And if Ivy isn’t careful, she might just do something incredibly foolish—like fall for Will Beckett.
