Synopsis

It was supposed to be a forgettable encounter.
Instead, a dine-and-dash gone wrong leaves Jeane Jones with a copper’s number in her phone… and a protector she can’t seem to shake.
When a hitman corners her, Chief Casey Whitmore steps in, and the quiet morning that brought them together suddenly turns into something neither of them can walk away from.
Jeane is used to keeping her distance… from danger, from love, from the past she’s desperate to outrun.
But Casey is different: steady, patient, and persistent. Phone calls turn into visits. Visits turn into something more.
He doesn’t know everything about her past. Not yet.
And when the danger she’s been running from finally finds her, it might cost them both more than their heart.
THE POINT OF NO RETURN is Part 1 of a contemporary romantic suspense series. Follow the story of a police chief who finds himself drawn to a criminal informant caught in the crosshairs of the mob he’s vowed to stop. Ordinary life collides with suspenseful danger in this character-driven romance with a happy-for-now continuation.
