Synopsis

Newlyweds Stuart and Amy Lewis are determined to leave the shadows of war behind. They abandon their MI5 desk jobs and retreat to the quiet coastal village of Eden Cove. Stuart spends his days helping his uncle repaint a lighthouse, hoping honest work will quiet the guilt he carries. Amy throws herself into building the peaceful life they both long for.

But it’s not so easy to escape the past.

When Amy is offered a clerical position at a nearby country house, she believes she is helping MI5 prevent Britain’s wartime secrets from falling into Soviet hands. Instead, she finds herself drawn into a deception closer to home. As the intrigue deepens, cracks form in Stuart and Amy’s still-new marriage. Can they shake off the past and find peace together? Or will the darkness overcome?
