Synopsis

There’s nothing like a manor to uncover buried secrets.

When New York art restorer Hallie Crawford arrives at Shallock Manor to restore a centuries-old fresco, she expects a temporary stay in the English countryside. Instead, she finds herself welcomed into a community that feels like family.

Abandoned by her parents as a child and raised by her aunt, Hallie knows almost nothing about her origins. Then a woman claiming to be her birth mother arrives, turning Hallie’s world upside down.

In her search for answers, Hallie grows closer to Rowan Elliot, the builder overseeing the manor’s restoration. But Rowan is struggling to free himself from problems he thought he’d left behind, and unless he’s willing to face them, any future with Hallie may be out of reach.

As tension mounts and the past reveals its secrets, Hallie must decide whether she’s ready to embrace the truth. If she leaves now, it may cost her a future with Rowan as well as the place she’s come to cherish.

Set amid the beauty of the English countryside, Stars Above The Manor is a clean contemporary romance filled with family secrets, belonging, and the courage to take chances. It can be read as a standalone or enjoyed as part of the Secret Inheritance series. It is clean and wholesome and contains light references to the faith of the characters.
