Synopsis

Plagued by the memory of her ex’s voice and the sting of her recent firing, Makenna Fore flees to Scotland on the vacation of her dreams. She expected stunning views, lots of history, some sheep, and maybe even a kilt or two. What she did not expect was to land in the hospital. Even more, she would never have thought she’d end up in her doctor’s care afterwards.

Emergency Department physician, Malcolm Robertson, isn’t looking for love. Especially not with a woman who doesn’t call the Scottish Highlands home. But when the same woman is unexpectedly thrown into his life twice in less than twenty-four hours, he straightens up and takes notice.

But what happens when their attraction threatens to outlast the vacation?
