Synopsis

A grieving princess. A cunning warlord. A premonition of death.

After a devastating loss, Princess Helga’s narcissistic father arranges a marriage to an enemy lord for his political machinations. Her orders are simple: bring the guardian of the Demon Wall into compliance by any means necessary.

Thorn Valdemar will die before he lets Elderwatch fall under the elf king’s control. He has no plans to trust his young bride–the fate of his family and blood band balances on the edge of a blade, and he can’t decide if Helga will be their salvation or the death of him.

With the king manipulating their moves, frost giants swarming the walls, and a shadow army rising, these reluctant allies must put aside their sorrow and prejudices before Elderwatch is consumed in the fires of war.

Their only hope is a weapon born of nightmares that will spell their ruin.

Readers who love the mythology of Marvel’s Thor, the swoony but emotional romance of Tara Grayce, and the high stakes of Leigh Bardugo will devour Death Daughter, the prequel to Everly Haywood’s Between Shade and Flame series.

Dovour this young adult romantasy with only one bed and a spy the size of a teacup today!
