Synopsis

What if every bitter mistake led you closer to death?

Cove’s impoverished village is plagued with a sickness that turns hearts to stone. Her father was the youngest to pass from it, and now it’s coming for her. Accepting her fate was simple…until her beggar friend Theo is wrongly imprisoned, and she is determined to free him before the sickness claims her. Along the way, Cove meets a man speaking strange promises: a scroll of prophecies, a sacrifice, and most importantly, a cure.
