Synopsis

Coercing a grinch into helping her check off her Christmas list might not be her best scheme. Or it might become the greatest gift of her life.

Annie Carter needs inspiration for the holiday rom-com she hopes will launch her writing career. Her twin brother and best friend were supposed to help, but their newly coupled status has them leaving her out in the cold instead. When Annie discovers an embarrassing secret about a friend’s grinchy brother, she extorts him into helping with her list of festive activities.

Holden Gray is not in a holly jolly mood. He’s nursing his pride after an injury derails his motocross career, and remains singularly focused on getting up to speed. That means more time at the track, and less time sipping hot cocoa in front of a fire. When Annie blackmails him into her merrymaking, he begrudgingly goes along with it to avoid fresh humiliation.

Mishaps and secrets force them together, but crossing items off the list brings them closer. Maybe when everything’s going wrong, it’s easier to see what’s right. And maybe the end of the list won’t mean the end of this naughty and nice pair’s time together.

All Is Not Calm is a no-spice, opposites attract, grumpy/sunshine, good girl/bad boy Christmas rom-com featuring a romance author and a motocross racer. It is a standalone story, but includes familiar characters from the Delaneys in Love series.
