Synopsis

A royal nanny forced to face her past. A loyal bodyguard who will do anything to save her.

Lucia Kalnde thought her life would calm down after the war that almost destroyed her homeland. Threats of famine and winter upend her plans when an offer comes from someone she thought she had escaped. Her father is willing to help the land…for a price—Lucia’s help finding her exiled brothers in exchange for supplies so many desperately need.

What Lucia doesn’t expect is for the aggravating, and definitely handsome, royal bodyguard Rhodi Caldyr to join her on her mission. While Rhodi may be able to protect her from physical danger, there is no way he can protect her from the damage her parents have wrought upon her life…or the threat of falling in love with the exasperating, but loyal bodyguard.

As winter arrives and time becomes an enemy, Lucia and Rhodi soon learn the snow conceals deadly secrets and someone doesn’t want Lucia’s brothers found. Can wind and whispers safely guide them to their destination, or will those who work against them succeed?

Of Wind and Whispers is a Christian romantasy fairy tale retelling of The Seven Ravens and features the tropes protective hero, he falls first, obscure retelling, and oblivious heroine.
