Synopsis

Mike Andrews, an electrical engineering student, knew better than to wager with his cousin Shelby because she never gambled. She only made bets that she was sure to win. But in a moment of impulsivity, he’d made the bet anyway and now he had to go on a date with Shelby’s burned out, exhausted nurse friend.

Having just moved to Salt Lake to escape a failed relationship he wasn’t about to start another. But he’d do the honorable thing and take Laura out on one date. She had gorgeous legs, how bad could it be?

Nurse Laura wasn’t happy about the date either. She wants excitement, not an unadventurous man who passes out at the sight of blood. Laura also has more than a few criteria her future one-and-only must meet. Her mother compares those to fence posts that she will just end up ripping out anyway.

But Mike doesn’t believe in dummy wiring, so he decides to show Laura Carter just how much of a spark he can have–with some pretty hilarious results.
