Synopsis

Life hasn’t been going my way lately. In a family full of success stories, mine feels like one big failure after another.

To make matters worse, I owe my mother money and my roommate just moved out. Out of pure desperation, I make a deal with Shane Thatcher—the walking temptation I’ve known since braces and bad hair days.

He’s my brother’s best friend, my current boss, my long-forgotten crush, and now…

My roommate.

But I’m a big girl, I can handle this. Not only am I definitely not attracted to him anymore, he also doesn’t fit my very specific list of qualifications for a romantic partner.

See? My heart is safe.

Best laid plans, right?

Suddenly we’re pranking each other like we’re teenagers again, my mom is threatening to drag me back to New York, and I’m wondering what Shane’s lips would feel like on mine.

Spoiler alert: probably really good.

I should be fending off my roommate.

Instead, I’m falling for him.

Expect closed-door sizzling chemistry in this romcom and plenty of laughs!
