Synopsis

After a messy breakup, Alex is ready for a reset. On a whim, she applies for a job as a high school librarian in a town she’s never even heard of-Fawn Creek, Kansas. Somehow, she lands the job, finds a sweet widow willing to rent her a room, and packs her Mini Cooper with books, cardigans, and crochet supplies for a brand-new life.

What Alex doesn’t expect? The library is in desperate need of help, and the job isn’t quite what she was promised. With encouragement from her new friends, including one very cute high school gym teacher, Alex decides to take matters into her own hands and turn the library into something truly special.

But will her efforts be enough to convince the school to keep her on the payroll? And is Fawn Creek just a temporary stop¿ or the place she’s been searching for all along?
