Synopsis

Ansel and Gretchen are best friends—not siblings—and it’s important to Ansel that no one suggest otherwise.

Ansel knows two things for certain: how to wield a sword, and that he’s in love with Gretchen. Trained in combat from a young age, his dedication and skill are matched only by his commitment to keep her safe from any harm, even if it means risking his own heart.
