Synopsis

There’s no guarantee she’ll survive the arduous journey West, but she’ll do everything in her power to make it there.

Jane O’Malley leaves Independence, Missouri, after her fiancé breaks off their engagement, the day of their wedding. With her heart broken and the sudden death of her mother, she and her father say goodbye to heartbreak in hopes of starting over in a land flowing with milk and honey, no matter how dangerous the journey.

Enoch Harden leaves his family in New York, dreams shattered and disowned by those who should’ve loved him the most. He blames God for his failures and sets out to prove he can succeed without the Lord and his family. With the help of three friends, he purchases enough cattle to start over in the West. He vows to get there, no matter what challenges face him.

When he meets Jane O’Malley, sparks fly between them. They fight their feels for one another as well as the hidden and not so hidden dangers along the way. In order to survive the elements and their innermost fears, they must rely on each other or risk everything they’ve worked so hard to achieve.
