Synopsis

Distance has nothing on destiny.

Lori Maguire is hitting the reset button. With her divorce in the rearview and her kids off at college, she’s ready to reclaim her life. Moving back home and landing a job at the Seattle Star feels like the perfect way to start fresh—until she realizes her new boss is none other than Matt Kelley, her college sweetheart and the guy who once stomped on her heart like it was a frat house beer can.

For Matt, it’s like Christmas came early. Walking into an interview and seeing Lori—the one who got away—feels like fate has handed him a second chance on a silver platter.
