Synopsis

After receiving an invitation to the palace, Kamo Rana takes up residence and continues her search. Who is responsible for the Sea Elves’ deaths? Is it Queen Idalia, as the advisor Elesun insists? Or is King Aden hiding a dark secret?

Kamo continues to learn magic from Elesun and gains a new friend in Phabian, a Noble elf and winner of the tournament. When she learns more about Rolin’s role as a Talker in the military, she’ll have to rely on her friendship with Gobi and some unexpected advice from Phabian to pull her through.

As the summer draws to a close, Kamo will have one last chance to find the killer at a Royal Ball held for every citizen of Ferena. With each suspect attending, she’s bound to finally learn the truth. Kamo’s search for revenge may be at an end, but the battles for justice have just begun.
