This is a bit of an odd one, which may not count as a “trigger”, but my books are written in British English with the British spelling system and colloquialisms. So if a reader would hate to see ‘colour’, ‘cosy’ and ‘favourite’ (for example) because the spellings would offend them, or find a few British expressions weird and off-putting, then it would possibly be best to avoid my books.
