My Wolves of Rock Falls series falls into the Level 3 (First Shift, Rogue Shift, Sworn Shift, Pack Shift). Several of these do have detailed kissing and fade to black scenes, but only between married couples. My most recent release, Of Flame & Frost, falls into the Level 2 category.
My books are marketed as secular fiction–targeted to the 16-20 crowd with moral (all from a Christian world view) pictures of healthy relationships, integrity, honor, and clear boundaries. Any sexual encounters are off page and between married couples (one man and one woman). Of Flame & Frost has an implied situation of sexual abuse, though it is quickly revealed that nothing happens beyond threats, but it could still make some readers uncomfortable.
