Synopsis

Some couples are meant to be. They just need a second try to get it right.

Discovering you’re still married—eleven years after receiving the divorce decree—is enough to give any man a stress-induced ulcer. Especially when you’re planning a wedding to someone else. And you still don’t understand why your wife filed for divorce in the first place.

When his attorney drops the bombshell, Jared McAlister hops on a plane to New York, determined to hand-deliver fresh divorce papers to his wife, Cecelia Chadwick. Dinner seems like a reasonable venue for this awkward reunion, but shared memories and old sparks stir emotions Jared thought he’d come to terms with long ago.

Cecelia’s life is as buttoned-up as her color-coded planner. She has clients who rely on her, deadlines she never misses, and a boss who hints she might actually use her heavy workload as a way to escape something from her past.
