Synopsis

In the beginning, love felt invincible.

It was love at first sight.
Unfortunately, it was also covered in spaghetti sauce.

One lunch period gone horribly wrong turned into undeniable chemistry, a whirlwind romance, and two teenagers absolutely certain they knew what they were doing. (They did not.) They grew up, said “I do,” and stepped into forever with more confidence than experience.

In the early days, it’s learning how to be married without a manual. Cramped kitchens. Creative budgeting. Discovering your spouse has deeply concerning thermostat preferences. Praying over bills. Assembling furniture with leftover screws. Welcoming surprises they didn’t exactly schedule. And somehow, through the chaos, it all feels golden—because rose-colored glasses are very forgiving.

Now, the house is quiet. The kids are grown. The calendar is empty.

And one by one, the marriages around them aren’t making it.

So Ed and Rose do what any slightly panicked, faith-filled, middle-aged couple might do—they book the long-awaited honeymoon… to see if they’ve still got it.

Sitting side by side without the noise, the schedules, or the distractions, they’re forced to ask a different question:

When everything else falls away, is the love still there?

A witty, faith-rooted, dual-timeline love story about high school sweethearts, golden-retriever devotion, the second chance you take with the person you already promised forever, and the sacred work of choosing each other long after the spaghetti stains wash out.

Come along and fall in love with Ed and Rose… twice.
