Synopsis

In Garnet Falls, the past doesn’t wait to be found. It comes looking.

Ten years ago, Payton Donovan left Garnet Falls, Montana, with a broken heart and no intention of looking back. Her twin sister had severed their bond. Her boyfriend had chosen her best friend. Her dream internship had vanished. The town that once felt like home had become the place that took everything.

But then that former best friend disappears, and Payton is pulled back to the town she’d spent a decade trying to forget. As an investigative journalist, she knows how to follow a trail. And the deeper she digs, the more chilling the truth becomes. Someone has been dismantling her life, piece by piece, for years. And they’re ready to finish the job.

The only person who can help her is Jack Rivers—the man who broke her heart and the one person with as many reasons to want the truth as she has to fear it. Forced back to his side, can Payton trust the man who once betrayed her?

A clean romantic suspense novel filled with small-town danger, deadly deception, shattered trust, and a second chance at love.
