Synopsis

Of course he would be handsome, caring, smart…and in the Navy.

Christiana “Tia” Lopez is done with men, done with DC, and done pretending she’s happy with her life. After catching her boyfriend in an awful lie, Tia bids farewell to the East Coast and retreats to her great aunt’s house in sunny San Diego. She has a new plan now: get a simple job, join a recreational soccer team, and pick up her paintbrush again. Dating, crushes, relationships—nowhere on her radar. She never believed in true love anyways and she’s ready to live life on her own terms for a change.

Until she meets Cole Slaeden, a Navy corpsman with a caring heart and a passion for his job. Once he enters the picture—literally—Tia is forced to reconsider everything she’s believed about love and courage.

Will a Navy romance finally lead to her happily ever after?

Care for this Love is a closed-door military romance told from Tia’s point of view WITHOUT the heavier themes of war, combat deployments, and related trauma. It has a small-town feel and fiery kisses, but no spice.
