Two Friends.
One chasing love.
The other avoiding it.
After years of unanswered prayers and dates gone awry, Grace Bradshaw feels her dreams for the future slipping away. So when her best friend, Cameron, says he knows just how to help her find her forever love, she agrees, even if it means they have to cross a few lines to get there.
Cameron Monroe refuses to give love a chance—now or in the future. Grace, however, was born for it. He’s done watching her get crushed on her journey there, which is why he’s willing to do whatever it takes to help her reach her happily ever after.
When Cameron’s plan takes an unexpected turn, and faith and love seem to pull them in opposite directions, will these two friends cling to what feels safe, or will they take a risk with the one person they were never meant to lose?
Wow. Wow. And more wow! This novel resonated with me so much in my current season of life, and it was the perfect friends-to-more, slow-burn, fake dating romance I didn’t know I needed to read! By pure chance–or rather, God’s intention–I saw my friend share an ARC reader post and felt compelled to inquire, even though I already had so many ARCS to finish. I’m so glad I did, though, because this story was AMAZING! 😍
Grace and Cameron were truly the most God-fearing MCs, and I loved how the Lord was the center of their newfound romantic relationship (and friendship). I especially connected with Grace; from going through major burnout over the past year to yearning for a long-term relationship, my desires haven’t always been aligned with God’s purpose for me. Like Grace, I’m learning how to trust His plan completely and know everything will work out for me in His time. Cameron was also like the most green-flag MC ever; he was so caring, compassionate, selfless, and kind. I also loved how big both of their hearts were for their church and community! ❤️
As the name states, this novel is truly “The Heart of Grace,” and encompasses pinnacle themes of forgiveness, loving yourself, taking chances, and trusting in God to make way for your life. ❤️
And how cool that a mother-and-daughter duo wrote this beautiful book together? Seriously, what an amazing bonding experience and a wonderful way of growing spiritually together in Christ! ✝
I highly recommend this one if you love Christian contemporary romances rooted in faith-filled themes and MCs who are genuine, perfectly imperfect, and faithful to the Lord. ❤️
