Synopsis

Joseph Sullivan knew that she was in trouble the moment that he saw her. Every fiber of his being and all of his training as a soldier knew that he had to protect her from the danger that was after her. No one should feel like they’re being hunted. When danger gives chase, he realizes that she’s more than just someone he wants to protect. Can he protect her long enough to find out if there can be anything more with her?

Anna Franklin’s past keeps coming after her like a bad habit. Apparently, some people never learn. Thankfully, she’s found a place and people that want to protect her. It even seems like a wonderful man might actually like her for who she really is and doesn’t want to change her. Could she really move forward with him when her ex seems to be hot on her heels?

When her past catches up with her and is hell-bent on dragging her back under his thumb, can Anna find the safety and security she’s been seeking in Joseph? Will she ever be able to truly be free from the dangers that her past brings? Will she even get the chance to be with the soldier who’s stolen her heart? Can Joseph let her go after everything if she chooses not to stay when the dust settles? Will they both get the chance to fight for what they want when it’s all said and done?
