Synopsis

My dream girl is my kid’s favorite teacher, making her off-limits. But my eight-year-old son isn’t taking ‘no’ for an answer.

When I got my orders to San Diego, I knew it would be a fresh start for me and my son. Our old town held so many memories of what happened years ago when we lost his mom. My wife.

The water, sand, and sun sounded like the perfect distraction for us both.

And I was right. Because soon after arriving, I met a spunky, free-spirited stunner and we shared a heart-stopping kiss with the roar of the ocean in the background. Yeah, our new life in San Diego was off to a good start.

But Miramar is a small base. Running into Rachel at every corner makes me think some outside force wants us to get together. And I have a nagging suspicion that the force is about four-feet-tall with a never-say-die attitude.

And I can’t help but think he might be onto something.
