Synopsis

He once provided her sanctuary. Now he’s intent on killing her himself.

Turned into a vampire against her will, the last thing Victoria wants is to work with vampires, but that’s impossible when she’s caught between two covens who want her to rule and two who want her dead. She has little choice but to ally with the Racer Coven while wondering when Benjamin will make good on his declaration to kill her.

And then she does the worst thing possible during an assault from the Bruiser Coven—proves she has the exact powers that Benjamin so fears, her ability to control other vampires. Which then inspires the Shifter Coven to join the fight against her.

Victoria thought former friends and allies trying to kill her was bad, but the Shifter leader is terrifying. And has no limits in her quest to kill Victoria, willing to go to any lengths to get at her, no matter the consequences. Which suddenly turns this conflict from vampire politics into a threat to all the enchanted races.

And when the lengths the Shifter Coven will take to end Victoria comes to light . . . where will Benjamin and the Bruiser Coven stand?
